Cryogenic processing makes parts wear resistant, tougher and uniform, but less brittle. As a result cutting tools, gears, chains, bushings, welding tips, wear parts, cutters and more will last 2 to 5 times longer. Most treated parts average between a 100% to 600% longer life.

The resultant pieces are more ductile, less brittle with an increase in bending strength, and tougher with an increase in resiliency. Your benefits include longer life, less tendency to crack, and this one-time, permanent, and irreversible process means that parts that are reground or re-sharpened do not have to be treated a second time.

Industrial consumables (bearings, ball bearings, roller bearings, bushings, wear parts etc.) last longer by 200% to 500%

High precision and accuracy components (gauges, shafts, guides) can be treated.

How do you reduce your manufacturing costs? Cryogenic processing makes parts tougher and uniform, but less brittle. As a result cutting tools, gears, chains, bushings, welding tips, pump parts, cutters and more will last two to five times longer. Some applications have seen a 6,000% improvement! Most treated parts average between a 100% to 600% longer life.

Our slow, dry freezing process converts austenite into hard martensite. Cryogenic processing also disperses the existing carbon molecules eliminating soft-hard shear planes. Finally, it almost triples the Eta carbides that intersperse the existing carbon molecules.

The resultant pieces are more ductile, less brittle with almost a 300% increase in bending strength, and tougher with a 176% KCU resiliency increase. Our stabilising process restores the temper of metal parts. It works on TiN (titanium-nitride) coated parts and hardened parts. Your benefits include longer life, less tendency to crack, and this one-time, permanent, and irreversible process means that parts that are reground or re-sharpened do not have to be treated a second time. Also, because up to 66% less material is removed each time, a part can be re-sharpened more times before it is out of tolerance.

Thin-wall aluminum castings will machine with less rejects and tighter tolerances. Gears, hardened or not, will last longer. The increased durability yields up to 90% longer life for tungsten high-speed steel and about 820% longer life for high-carbon/chromium steel. Chain won't stretch and alter timing of equipment.

Welding tips will last longer and require less electricity. Light bulbs have shown a 75% drop in resistance, 40% brighter light and longer life because of the positive effects on the filament. Yes, the process is gentle enough for light bulbs!
